10% discount on all courses! Plus free project storage!
Workshops
$45 and up per workshop
Need a quick jumpstart on a project? These workshops are
designed to teach you a specific skill in order to get something
beautiful finished—or started!
Comprehensive Classes
$150 and up
4-12 classes over a month or more

The Bay Area's first warehouse dedicated to creating home decor is finally here!
Looking for help with an upholstery or sewing project? We have 1-day workshops, classes and open-studio memberships to help you create whatever you want with our array of tools and friendly teachers!
We have a huge warehouse with an inspiring ambiance providing the tools and space you need to learn furniture upholstery, industrial and home sewing for window treatments like curtains, drapes, roman shades, valances, canopies...Plus: cushions, slip covers, amazing pillows and more! Learn to sew fabulous bedding - it's easy to upholster bed headboards, room dividers, benches, chairs and ottomans.
We also offer Decor Uncorked parties to help your creativity flow! And the fun doesn't stop with your home; we can also help you redecorate your RV or boat or any vehicle you might have. You name it---if you like to do-it-yourself we're here to help you!
History
The HDLC was stablished in 2012 by Rachel Myers, President and Director of Education. A veteran seamstress, upholsterer and teacher, Rachel is well-known in the East Bay for her home decor classes.
After cutbacks in the adult and community education programs Rachel saw an opportunity to keep the classes and fun going!
