Pam Rogers became interested in stitching from the time she was 5 years old. Her Croatian Grandmother taught her how to Embroider on Handkerchiefs and Tablecloths, and her interest blossomed from there. She started sewing in Middle school, and progressed to classes in tailoring and hand finishing.
She earned a degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and worked in the design field for many years.
More recently, she has been focusing her time on Sashiko, Art Quilting , Crewel Embroidery and Machine Embroidery.
Pam has earned numerous awards and recognitions for her creations from the Alameda Co Fair and the Contra Costa Guild of Quilters.
She is a board member of Valley Stitchers Fiber Art Guild, an avid fan of show and tell, and encourages everyone to share their creative spirit.
